Not sure why when I run the code my numbers are showing up diagonally. HELP!

for (var i = 1; i <= 10; i += 1 ) {
  html += '<div>' + i + '<div>';

I am not sure what you are trying to do. I suppose you want to print out a series of numbers. The code doesn't look complete and has some syntax errors. Is the below one what you want? 

var html ='';

for (var i = 1; i <11 ; i ++){
  html += i + ' ';
}
document.write(html);
