I am having trouble with this. First time user?

using_input.py
favorite_color = input("What is your favorite color?")

print( "The color purple is a great choice.", favorite_color,)
print(favorite_color, "The color purple is great!")

Hi there, looks like you are missing the formatting in the print function and you are hard coding in the color as "purple" and not what the user has entered. Try this:

favorite_color = input("What is your favorite color?")

print("The color {} is a great choice.".format(favorite_color))

See if you can fix your second print function using format :)
