Notes for lessons

I would find it very useful if you guys had notes that I could print out for each video lesson that I could follow along to while I watch the video. Sort of like how professors in real classes will give you printouts of their powerpoints to follow along with in-class and to keep as reference. It can just be the basic points we should take away from the lesson and some code examples.

Any plans to add something like this in the future?

Thanks! Colin

I find it better to follow along and write down the key points myself. That way I make a mental note of what is most important and remember writing things down.

I bought a small notebook and make a new page for each Main subpart of the tutorials. Its really helpfull and I have learnt much better since I started to do that.

I think if the information was just handed to us, it would be a little to easy. Just my opinion though

Thanks for the response Jack. I take notes in Evernote currently as I go through the videos. I find myself pausing the videos and having to rewind parts a lot in order to get all my notes in, which gets tedious to me with all the stop and start and finding the right place in the video.

You're right they shouldn't just hand us the information. I may try your suggestion next time I start a new course.

Something you could try is they do have the transcripts that you can download which would allow you to add notes to what they say and even stress importance with a good highlighter. It's not exactly what you were asking about (I've seen that done) but it would be a good start point if you feel you need something.
