Notes section

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

As well as using Treehouse, I also take courses through another learning provider, and they provide a small section of screen estate (maybe like a 10-15% wide strip, on the absolute right of the screen) where the learner can take notes while watching their video. The notes are even timestamped to the section of the video the learner presses enter/return.

Any chance this could be worked in or put under consideration? Sometimes, especially when taking onboard new concepts, I have to translate them for myself into my own, luddite language to solidify the concept in my head and aid understanding. Some teachers are better than others in taking something which is alien, and conceptualising it in a different way, and some topics are more abstract than others.

It would be better to for me to take notes on the same screen than having to remember everything that I haven't quite understood, which is mentally exhausting because if my brain doesn't "get" something, then it finds it difficult to hold onto it.

Switching screens to Evernote either at the end of the video having tried to remember everything, or stopping and starting the video to switch screens and type down the important points is not ideal.

I understand that my complaint might be quite "me-centric", but similarly if I'm finding this difficult, then I'm sure somebody else will be.
