Python

Now add db as the database attribute in the Meta class for Challenge.

from peewee import *

class Challenge(Model): name = CharField(max_length=100) language = CharField(max_length=100) steps = IntegerField(default=1)

db = SqliteDatabase('challenges.db')

class Meta:
    database = db

I am not sure why this is being rejected, I tried a couple of things, still , the code is not working, can someone help me understand why the code is not working

Hello,

The presentation of your code has not rendered very well, so I may be well off with this, but try to define the database outside of the class:

DATABASE = SqliteDatabase('challenges.db')

class Challenge(Model):

    class Meta:
        database = DATABASE

Your code looks good, assuming your indentation is correct. If you move the,

db = SqliteDatabase("challenges.db")

line above the Challenges class, it should work. The challenge seems to dislike defining the db variable within the class for whatever reason.
