My answer, what is wrong with it ?

wp_enqueue_scripts('my_plugin_frontend_js',plugins_url('my-plugin/js/front-end.js'),array('jquery'), '',true);

the function is "wp_enqueue_script' . Singular 'script' not 'scripts' gets me too sometimes because wp_enqueue_styles is plural.
