Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask View Args Through URL

Now give hello() a default name argument of "Treehouse"

why did you repeat the code 4 times?. The task can be completed like so.

from flask import Flask

app = Flask(__name__)


@app.route('/')
@app.route('/<name>')
def hello(name="Treehouse"):
     return 'Hello {}'.format(name)

thanks very much it did work out. i actually wasnt repeating the code but i was working it in full at every task level

That's ok long as you understand and it works.
