Null Pointer Exception With Logout Button

When I try to Logout from the menu, I see an "Unfortunately Ribbt has stopped message". After the message, Ribbit does still immediately bring me to the loginActivity. In the logcat there's a null pointer exception that points to this line in the EditFriendsActivity:

 mFriendsRelation = mCurrentUser.getRelation(ParseConstants.KEY_FRIENDS_RELATION);

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Okay, so the issue was that I did not put breaks into my case statement in the onOptionsItemSelected method.
