Object Oriented PHP

This is more a question for Randy Hoyt and the Treehouse team than anything else;

In the php tutorial you touch on object oriented programming with PHP and I was wondering if there are any plans to create a full tutorial on it?

I've had a look around online and can't find any tutorials that explain it effectively. I understand the basics but I'm struggling to impliment it in my projects.

We don't have any concrete plans for that at present, Marc, but we'll definitely keep in mind that there's interest! Thanks for letting us know.

+1 for OO PHP

Thanks for your response Alan. I'm more than interested. I'd even be happy to upgrade to gold if it was done as a master class or some such.

Like I said, I understand the basics of creating a class and passing information to it and pulling information back out. But I'm struggling with how I actually implement it in my current projects, going from procedural to the OOP style and what the real benefits are.

Regards,

Has there been anymore development in an OOP for PHP course? I would also be very interested in this.

When is this course going to be available? It says available on Mar 3rd, 2014 but it's still no.
