So I recently finished this new "crash" course and I really hope there will be a lot more content and lessons about this particular subject. As I couldn't help wonder if there were more people sharing this thought.
So to motivate the staff and teachers here at teamtreehouse to release more content, I would like to see hear your thoughts about this.
A anxiously awaiting member!

Courses Plus Student 40,672 PointsHello,
Speaking as a long-time PHP OOP developer, I can tell you that this crash course is only the tip of a much larger iceberg. OOP PHP is a very complex and powerful tool that you can use (once you fully understand it) to your benefit. I don't know when and what the teachers at Team Treehouse will put out but I can tell you that you guys will be very excited when it does. With OOP you can create easy-to-use/edit web sites, multifunctional web applications, and more. Applications like WordPress, Joomla, phpBB, and much more take advantage of the OOP in PHP and have developed powerful applications and websites that can do an endless range of tasks. What I would like to see on Team Treehouse is a tutorial on how to make a simple CMS system as I am a CMS developer and can tell you that every second developing has been a joy and an adventure. Glad you guys are having a blast learning OOP and are excited to continue to move the ball into more complex and informative learning.
Cheers!

3,241 PointsI'm also very interested as how to make some decent php applications. There is nothing more interesting as to make a computer work for you instead you having to work your computer! Programming languages make this possible!
As for the object oriented approach, I only see the pros and not the cons! The whole principle just speaks to me. Combining OOP lessons with a project such as a simple CMS system sounds very interesting to me. Or what about a decent shopping cart?
Hope to hear/see more great ideas!
