Object Reference - Data Association - Mongo Express

I'm using Object Reference for Data Associations in my Express-Mongo app, but when I try to access the database it only shows the Object ID and not the actual data.

I haven't using mongo DB so not sure, but my guess would be that you need to create a call to that table that is storing the data not just the id.

Well I did a little digging and got the answer, I wasn't using the "populate" function when getting data from ID using Object Reference. So yeah, if anyone else gets stuck use this.
