I'm wondering if the course is actually going to be released on the 21st of November? It is becoming frustrating and annoying with dates being constantly shifted...

Treehouse Guest TeacherWe are working hard to make sure we launch the course on time. We try our best to hit dates but sometimes delays occur which are beyond our control. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Treehouse TeacherI'm not directly involved with this course, but I know that Amit has done a lot of work to make some new Code Challenges that are shaping this into a really awesome course. We are sorry for the delays as we are so excited to release this!

25,519 PointsThanks for getting back to me. I appreciate that there can be extenuating circumstances. It's just that all the other courses have been released on time this seems to be one that repeatedly shifted with no sign of release. Hopefully keep my fingers crossed for the 21st!

25,519 PointsHi Ben, I'm pretty psyched about this course to and I'm sure it's going to be great. Counting down till Thursday so can get cracking with it, out of all the courses this is the one for me thats been the one worth waiting for and probably the one thats central to my learning, hence the anticipation!!!

Treehouse TeacherI just started doing some QA on it and it's really good! It should really give students a comprehensive base of knowledge to build on. Lots of good practice. :)

25,519 PointsExciting stuff. I think to be honest thats what I'm hoping to walk away with. There are so many books online which don't do a good job of explaining the concepts behind C and Objective C. Is there likely to be a book to accompany the series? Something like a hand book or quick reference guide?
Ben Jakuben
Treehouse TeacherNot right now, but it's something we always talk about. It'd be great to provide written materials one way or another as they are great to refer back to. At the moment we are simply focusing all resources on video content production.

10,065 PointsThis is wonderful and very much looking forward to it! Keep up the great work guys!
With regards to a handbook, should we try out some sort of collaborative document where everyone can pitch in and then Ben and Amit just quality control this collaborative work?
Ben Jakuben
Treehouse TeacherThat's actually a fantastic idea. We have cheatsheets already created; we could potentially host these on Github and allow students to submit pull requests. It would be good git practice as well! I will propose this as a project to our team.
