Odd bottom borders

So I've followed both parts to this workshop and even went back and used the entire project files downloads for each one and I am finding a very odd margin or padding issue which what seems to be the bottom of each row.

has anyone had experiance with this? I've gone through the CSS in the project files and can't seem to find the issue.

I fixed it by adding 

.mazeRow {
  margin-bottom: -5px;
}

it works but there was nothing there to create that margin in the first place. Oddness
