In the video where she changes the background color to lightgrey, she uses the variable odd to select the odd elements, and yet the even ones are selected. Is it based on index? Considering index 1 (second) and index 3 (fourth) changed colors?

1 Answer

Odd will pick the odd items (1, 3, 5 etc) in the index while even will pick the even ones (0, 2, 4 etc). Its a bit odd at first when dealing with zero-based indexes but you will get used to it quickly.
