On my Wordpress dashboard I do not see "destinations" or "slide shows". How do I customize or add them to my menu?

Hi Rachel,

Have you created your custom post types yet? Normally when filling in "Plural Label" and saving your CPT through CPT UI they should already appear in your admin menu in the backend.

I don't have any idea what this means. How do you create custom post types? Was this covered somewhere?

You need to install the plugin Custom Post Types UI. Activate it and it will appear in the admin menu. You'll be able to create your custom post types with this. Once created, they will also appear in the admin menu. With Advanced Custom Fields you'll be able to add custom fields to these post types.

For anyone who is still trying to find out how to make custom post types this video in the How to Make a Website with Wordpress course is very helpful: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/how-to-make-a-website-with-wordpress/custom-post-types-and-fields-in-wordpress/setting-up-custom-post-types-and-fields
