on the source element add a type attribute with a value tha corresponds to the video file? i need help

i keep getting the type attribute does not matches this video

You should replace your type="video.mp4" with type="video/mp4" if format of your video is mp4. :) Something like this:

<source src="movie.mp4" type="video/mp4">
