no idea what to do can someone help me?

Hey Alex,

The drive method can throw an IlegalArgumentException, so to handle this exception (if it's thrown) you need to wrap the main method's call to kart.drive(42) in a TRY-CATCH block.

your main method should look like this

class Example {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    GoKart kart = new GoKart("purple");
    if (kart.isBatteryEmpty()) {
      System.out.println("The battery is empty");
    }
    try{
    kart.drive(42);
    }catch(IllegalArgumentException iae){
     System.out.println(iae.getMessage());
    }
  }

}
