I do the same code as Ben did , but Once the App is run, the progress bar is visible and always visible !!!

I had the same problem. You may have missed the first call to toggleRefresh(). Check out Patrick's response in this answer

Thank you for responding , but after checking my program carefully , i have found i did not set the progress bar to be invisible in the beginning , i add this code and it works mProgressBar.setVisibility(View.INVISIBLE);
