HTML Build a Simple Website Creating a Website Structure Adding Grid CSS

opening up grid.css

when I open up the grid.css file, it is using notepad. How do I open it up in the editor (using windows)? Thank you

Right click the file and hover over 'Open with', then from the sub-selections select 'Choose default program...'. From there, just select which editor you want to be your default editor.

When i right click the zip file folder and then open it in sublime text 2, it opens up with a a bunch of random jumbled code. As far as the individual files (grid.css), it will not give me the option, when i right click, to open with anything else.

Make sure you export the files from the folder. If you are trying to edit the files directly from the zip file you will run into issues.
