iOS Build a Playlist Browser with Swift Building the Music Library and Playlist Models Using a Playlist Instance

Optionals?!

Hey Pasan Premaratne ,

Wouldn't it be better if you had shot these videos to better reflect the fact that most of the time the data won't be as complete as we want it to? You mention it in the videos briefly to warn us but I would have preferred that you would code that way. I am having difficulty implementing the Playlist struct, especially its two stored properties: backgroundColor and artists. We didn't declare them as optionals but what if the music library had nil values for them, or the keys didn't exist at all. How would we recover from it?

And lastly, when do you think you'll update the videos to reflect the changes in Swift 1.2 and the upcoming 2.0?

Thanks.
