Python

OS python

import os

shopping_list = []

def clear_screen(): os.systems("cls" if os.name == "nt" else "clear")

What does that code mean or do?

1 Answer

the clear_screen() function uses os.systems to call the "clear" or "cls" commands, depending on if it's mac/linux or windows. "clear" and "cls" will clear the text from the console window where the code was executed.
