Other ways of setting up Spring web app

Chris,

In the "Configuring Gradle for Spring Development" section you mention that There's a handful of ways to set up the configuration of a Spring web app, but Spring boot is the simplest way.

Are there other videos where the other ways of setting up Spring web app are disguised?

Are those other ways using beanFactory or application context?

Thanks, -Leo
