Java Java Data Structures Getting There Packages

Packages challenge in java data structures

Can anyone shed light on why my code is not working?

com/example/BlogPost.java

Display.java
import com.example.BlogPost;

public class Display {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
    BlogPost blogpost = new BlogPost();

  }
}

1 Answer

import com.example.BlogPost;

public class Display {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
  BlogPost blogPost = new BlogPost();
    System.out.printf("this is a blog post : %s", blogPost);

  }
}

Your mistake maybe:

package com.example;
public class BlogPost() {
}

Dont write () after a class name

I'm still getting the error "remember to put the package name in the first line" even without the parenthesis and writing it like this. So I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

BlogPost blogpost = new BlogPost;

Even when I wrote it the way we learned in the video I still got the same error.
