Python Functions, Packing, and Unpacking Getting Info In and Out of Functions Functions with Arguments and Returns

packing and unpacking functions 1/2

I am not sure where I have gone wrong. I keep getting a syntax error

creating_functions.py 
def hello_student(name):
    return = "Hello " + name

 hello = hello_student("Rue")

A return statement doesn't use an assignment operator. It should just be:

return "Hello " + name

You also have an indentation error in that there is a space before this line:

hello = hello_student("Rue")

hello should align with the word def above
