Padding declaration

Why do you write padding-left: 20px; and padding-right:20px , but not padding: auto 20;

You can use shorthand when writing the padding declaration. I've never seen auto used for top and bottom tho. 

#idName {
  padding: 0 20px; /* TOP/BOTTOM - LEFT/RIGHT */
}

/* or */

#idName {
  padding: 0 20px 0 20px; /* TOP RIGHT BOTTOM LEFT */
}

You can't use 0 as the top and bottom padding. You have to use auto otherwise the buttons shrink down and don't match what the instructor is doing.
