iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Parameters and Tuples Named Parameters

paramerter label vs. parameter name?

For what circumstances might it be useful that parameter label and parameter name differ?

I would guess that a parameter name might be longer to make it descriptive, because it is only used when the function is called, while the label is used several times inside a function which can be pre-made, so it can have a short less descriptive label.
