Parameters in C#!

"This method doesn't take any parameters" What does it mean?

I'd expect to see that message if I accidentally tried to call a method and pass it a parameter, but it is defined as not taking any parameters. For example:

obj.getsomeval(42);  // if you did this
obj.getsomeval();    // but it should be called like this
