Hello,
Parse now offers Local Datastore. Do you think it is as good as Core Data? What are it's shortcomings? I have not tested it yet.

16,502 PointsHi Gary,
Parse Local Datastore is great news. So far, for those of us who have been using Parse as a backend and then Core Data within our app, we've had to create a bridge - writing a lot of code - to get the data and store it within Core Data. Even more code if we wanted to then sync our local data back to Parse !
We have 2 apps in development using Parse Local Datastore so I'll keep everyone posted if we encounter any issues.

7,153 PointsThanks Sebastien! I guess that answers my question: if you use both Core Data and Parse in the same project than I guess Local Datastore is not a replacement for Core Data.
