Parse.com is shutting down. Is there another service that i can you in order to make same functionality?

Parse.com is shutting down. It is no longer available and the registration is closed. Is there another service that i can use in order to make same functionality as in this course (Build a Self-Destructing Message iPhone App)? Will teamTreeHouse make new videos about backend in iOS?

I love/hate CloudKit. It's stupidly easy to integrate but gets really frustrating building larger applications with it. CK is only for iOS though so if you wanted to make an Android app too, you're out of luck. I'm just starting to use Google's Firebase after this Parse disaster. It's been fine so far. Amazon has AWS Mobile Hub which I've heard nothing but good things about.
