Hi!

Can anybody tell me what the purpose of parseInt is in the video?

Thanks :)

Hi! ParseInt is meant to change a string value that is a number into an actual number value.

console.log(parseInt("2")); // the output will be the number 2 not a string

You are welcome :)

The common function "parseInt" converts a string containing digits into a number.
