percent v pixels

I would really like some explanation as to why the presenter sometimes uses percentages for elements like padding then also uses values like pixels for padding. What's the rationale?

Hi Pat,

Percentages scale according to the width and/or height of your screen. Pixels have fixed values that can only be adjusted in the CSS by using media queries. These queries tell the website to adjust those fixed values to other fixed values depending on the screensize of the user/visitor.

Hope it helps! Max
