performSegueWithIdentifier not performing

I just finished the "Adding Login and Sign Up Screens" and still am unable to make the segue happen. Below are links to two screen shots; one of the MainStoryboard with the segue identifier showing and the other of the actual code implementation to fire the segue. Not sure why the segue isn't loading.

I changed the identifier to showLoginSignUp in hopes that may fix it, but no luck.

Cleaned the project and no luck.

Put in some NSLogs and it looks like the viewDidLoad isn't actually being called.

I found the issue though. I hadn't told the Storyboard a custom class for the InboxTableViewController.

Always so many little bits and pieces to remember. Storyboard is so amazingly convenient, but it can be difficult to see what you have or haven't done sometimes.

try a clean first, sometimes storyboard updates dont go through until you do a clean. selecte product -> clean from the xcode menu. if that doesnt work, put an NSLog in your view did load and see if viewDidLoad is actually getting called.
