Hi Guys
So, i've used the Adobe suites for many years but i'm at a point where I find myself wondering is there actually anything out there that is as good, if not better than the Adobe suites for design?
I know Sketch is massively talked about and used, but has anyone had any experience of the Affinity Designer and Photo products? Much less cost and the reviews seem solid from people who have used Adobe and switched over to Affinity.
Anyone on here who have made that switch or played in this software?

Adobe was a bit too pricey for me, so I use Sketch for vector and Pixelmator for bitmap. However, this is mostly for basic graphics and UI elements. I'm certainly not predominately an artist or designer, but they are quality tools you could look into.
Edit - It's worth noting that there is a discount for Treehouse students for Sketch. Pixelmator has been known to go on sale for pretty good prices as well.

1,064 PointsI do actually have Photoshop, its not getting the software thats the issue here. Just curiously looking for alternatives for a better price that essentially do the same thing, if not better on a Mac system.
