Photoshop Use

So I started Treehouse not to long ago and I literally enjoy is so much. I finally have to opportunity to do what I truly love!

I went to library, so I could learn about photoshop and that is why I am here. I feel, and this is my opinion, that if someone is trying to learn about a software (In this case photoshop) that they should have access to it. It makes sense that if you don't know how to use the software, than why would someone purchase it?

Now, this is my suggestion and and don't quite know how this would work, but maybe Treehouse could maybe "partner up" or so to say for the sake of this explanation:

Treehouse students pay $25 or $50 a month. So, if you stop paying the monthly fee, you won't have access to Treehouse. So, if Treehouse and Adobe partnered up, they could allow access to students of Treehouse to use photoshop. Now, if you stop paying your monthly fee of $25 or $50, you will not have access to photoshop.

It's an interesting thought. I'm not part of the Adobe Creative Cloud though. I go back to Adobe CS5 and I don't think Adobe make their software available to buy anymore but it might be a good deal to go for if people don't want to or can't afford to pay a subscription to both the cloud and their Treehouse tuition. :-)

Yeah, another way this would be good is if the teachers (at Treehouse) use the same photoshop software as we use (this would work best if my suggestion was implemented).

just a side note. The Photoshop Photography program is only 9.99mth. You would have access to Photoshop as long as you pay the the 10 bucks (also have access to Typkeit and Lightroom to boot). If you're serious about learning Photoshop it's well worth it.

Yeah but that's $120 annually added to the $250 from Treehouse. It would be easier to have access to it in Treehouse and when you finally have the basic understanding of photoshop, you can buy it on your own time. This also would be good because it would save me the $10 if I didn't feel photoshop was my thing.

I agree with Matthew, Photoshop should be available for free for Treehouse students for learning purposes. Or at least we should be able to get the "Students and Teachers" cheaper complete version...
