Photoshop vs HTML

Hello, I would like to know if you as a web designer like to work on HTML straight or go through Photoshop web designing you project. What are the pros and cons of both the techniques.

I personally like to work straight on html. It saves plenty of time also it enables me to test the project has I go through it.

I'm a bit of both. For my own projects I usually go from sketchbook to my markup. If I'm doing something for a client then I definitely will do some mockups in a framework or depending on the needs will use Sketch or in your case Photoshop.

I would stay away from Fireworks. A designer I used to work with is now in the disaster of having to transfer over a year of UI design from Fireworks to Sketch (which is what he decided to use over Photoshop). My gut is saying (and what I've followed) is that Sketch was made for UI design and Photoshop was made for photo editing. While Photoshop can be used to do UI, I like Sketch more. This is one of those personal preference things, though. Choose what you like best. ...with one caveat and that is to look at what those you are working with are using and maybe have a preference towards that so that sharing projects is a bit easier.

I personally would like to use photoshop and program in HTML and CSS. You get your own custom design from photoshop along with your custom layout in HTML + CSS styling to make your web page look even better!. I am currently learning photoshop, HTML and CSS and I love using photoshop with my other skills!

Balsamiq and moqups are what I like.
