It might be helpful if you tell us more about your objectives.

Why are you interested in learning on Treehouse? Just out of curiosity? Do you want to change careers? Do you want to build a web app? etc...

Change careers and also create a small scale web app :)

Depends on what your goal is. Maybe if you knew what you wanted to do with your skills then it would be easier to say "well if you want to do that you should probably take this course" but if you want something similar to what you were already doing I would say jump deeper into javascript with fullstack.

PHP is always good to know too.

Thanks for the advise! :) I think I should learn PHP as the demand of PHP developers in our country is high.

Well i am in the same place as you. I am looking to change careers and i want to make web apps. I did a search on Indeed to see what has a higher demand in my area PHP has a higher demand than Rails so i decided on PHP. But like Idan said, post your objectives so we can help you a little bit better.

Good luck!

Which career are you looking for?

I can tell you my story.

I was working at an after school care center, when I enrolled atTreehouse.

I started learning web development and Wordpress. After I got a basic understanding of html, css and wordpress I switched Python. Can;t tell exactly why... Just found it interesting.

I was interested in building web apps, and like you, I wasn't sure what I should study... I thought about maybe switching to Ruby so I could learn Rails.

Then a couple of months ago I got a job as a Python junior developer for a company that scan websites using Python. So I'm sticking to Python and I'm now learning Databases and Flask (and git) so I can build small app for my own use.

btw - If you are looking to work for a company, I'd start sending out applications. Maybe someone is looking to fill a junior position you can fill.

Wow! Good for you. I was planning to go to Python as well but I did some research and found out that the demand for PHP developers in our country is higher. So I think I would go to PHP. Thanks bro! :D
