PHP if else statements help

I need some help because it's saying incorrect output. Do they want me to use 1 conditional statement? I'm a little confused. Thanks!

index.php
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment
if($studentOneGPA == 4.0) {
  echo "$studentOneName 'made the Honor Roll'";
} else {
  "$studentOneName" . 'has a GPA of' . "$studentOneGPA";
}

if($studentTwoGPA == 4.0) {
  echo "$studentTwoName 'made the Honor Roll'";
} else {
  "$studentTwoName" . 'has a GPA of' . "$studentTwoGPA";
}
?>

Hi Daniel, Your solution is almost right. Try to correct the echo output, then it should work:

Best regards - phil

<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0 ) {
  echo $studentOneName . ' made the Honor Roll';
} else {
  echo $studentOneName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentOneGPA;
}

if ($studentTwoGPA == 4.0 ) {
  echo $studentTwoName . ' made the Honor Roll';
} else {
  echo $studentTwoName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentTwoGPA;
}
?>

I see i went a little crazy with my syntax. Thanks!
