Hey Ashish,

yes, this is possible using the placeholder pseudo-element. However note that IE9 and older versions don't support this. Look here to see a list of supported browsers.

It works like this:

<input type="text" placeholder="Your name" />
input::placeholder {
    color: blue;
}
