Places to get opinions on website?

I'm looking for a place I can get opinions on a website I am busy building to make sure I am keeping up with the best practices.

I would like data on the visual design, practicality, compatibility, readability of code etc. It doesn't necessarily have to be comments from people (although that would be ideal).

Are there any resources or forums available where I can quality control my work?

PS: How do I add a space between lines in this forum?
