I just curious to know when designer plan on creating a website, is it drawn out on paper as a concept before going straight into code? I know everyone has a different approach but I was curious as to the different approaches taken. Is there a platform other than site mapping where you can drag and drop elements onto a area? Thank you!

7,272 Pointsmany people start off with a paper sketch. A very common and good way is to make your site in illustrator/Photoshop first. You are putting on screen what it looks like. the coding is for making it real. Also remember to make a mobile screen version, ipad screen version and desktop version of your website when planning.
