PLEASE FIX!

CSS foundations second-edition Text-Properties question one reads:

Transform the text in the h1 to capital letters.

spent a good hour trying to get this to work with h1 {text-transform:uppercase;}

The question should ask to transform the first letter of each word. It ask to change the TEXT in the h1, so I assume all text.

What do you think?

Finally got it correct anyway so I get to move on!

The question currently reads as:

Transform the text in the h1 to capital letters.

One possible way to clarify the instructions:

Capitalize the text in the h1

@Kris - good point, we'll change the instructions to 'Capitalize the text in the h1'.

@James - thanks for the suggestion.

@Kris -

Regarding having spent a good hour trying to get this to work.

Parsing directions and spotting errors in the instructions, is just another form of troubleshooting. Liking coding is largely about enjoying spending the better of a day troubleshooting. The majority of the time I spend coding is actually spent troubleshooting.

Just my 2 cents.

@Fabi - Sweet, I love how responsive Treehouse is to suggestions from it's users.

Thanks @fabi and @james.

I love to trouble shoot and the challenge of meeting the request. The wording got me off from the beginning.

Thanks again!

h1 { text-transform: capitalize; } Value

capitalize
    Transforms the first character in each word to uppercase; all other characters remain unaffected—they’re not transformed to lowercase, but will appear as written in the document
