please help

create a new variable named total width that multiplies the width by thenumOfDivs

Hi Hilary,

You're almost there! To multiply the width with numOfDivs you need to place the width within the brackets of parseInt(). If you place it outside of the brackets there's nothing to multiply the numOfDivs with. So the correct javascript would be:

var width = '190px';
var numOfDivs = 10;
var totalWidth = parseInt(width)*numOfDivs;
