Please help not sure what I'm missing, I keep getting 'Bummer: Try again'.

Hi Jorleni, Looks to be a formatting error. Python code needs to be formatted correctly or you'll encounter errors.

If you look in the Init of the S class the super is one space away from being correct. The rest of the code, and more importantly the code you wrote for the challenge, is all correct!

class S(Letter):
    def __init__(self):
         pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
        super().__init__(pattern)

I've just tried the challenge with this code and it works.
