Please help...having an issue assigning the variables...

Every time I assign the variable i can't seem to get it right...not sure what the issue is.

var red = color;
var flower = roses;
if (flower===red) {
    alert('This is true');
} else {
    alert('This is false');
}

You're getting too fancy here, and:

  • you reference an undefined variable named "color"
  • and reference another undefined variable named "roses"

Basic boolean values are true and false. So the simplest boolean value you can put in the if expression to satisfy the challenge would just be "true". You don't need to define any variables.

As Steven mentioned, you're doing a little more than required here. There's no need to declare variables in this instance. Simply placing 'true' as the condition within the parentheses will complete this challenge
