You go to the python website, downloads and then select your platform it will be either windows 32 or 64bit depending on which version of Windows 8 you are running. You can find out on the This pc section of windows.

There isn't a windows 10, windows 8, windows 7 version there is only a windows version.

Extra: Make sure you download the latest Python 3 and not python 2.7

I have downloaded it, but the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from my computer.
