please , i still stuck at this. i watch tutorial several time. buat still dont get the answer.

I don't have any clue about this.

I haven't done the tutorial, but my guess is:

$files = scandir( 'example' );

foreach( $files as $file){
  if(strpos($file,'fun') !==false){
    echo'<h3>' . $file . '</h3>';
    $contents = file_get_contents('example/' . $file); // * 
    echo strtolower($contents);
    // * removed bracket
  }
}

I used * to indicate stuff I changed.
