Hello,
I just did a marathon session and built a portfolio on Wordpress from scratch over the weekend.
I'm certainly curious as to everyone's constructive criticism. I have a lot of work left to do, some things that need to be optimized for sure (like lazy loading and using proper image sizes for user's viewport).
Also looking to see if you guys find any bugs. If so, browser, version, and screenshot would be tremendously helpful.
Anyway, adding new work weekly. It's a start. What do you think?

12,347 PointsGood:
-Looks well designed.
-Looks, well, ...designed. My portfolio at peterbsmith.net looks developed. Yours looks designed and beautiful.
Bad:
-Too many projects on the index page. Add a featured section that only has the top 3-5 projects.
- The text "currently showing only Product design projects" seen here is ugly. Delete it and in it's place give "Graphic" and "Product" clicked states, maybe similar to the hover state so that it's still clear to the user what's being displayed.

32,861 PointsLooks good! I like the design.
It's missing information about yourself, and also I don't see any contact information for you. I would also cut the number of projects you have on there in half. Only pick the best ones.

I want to use that font for a web project. Thanks!

28,149 PointsThank you Colin, agree will work on # of projects. Felt like I didn't have much until I got stuff loaded in. I can easily turn projects on and off from the site to help me aim projects towards potential employers when I'm expecting a review.
Contact info will also be added. Haven't got that up yet. Probably in the next day or two.
As to your question, the font is called "Homestead".

26,676 PointsOne thing I highly recommend you do is use lazy loading and/or compress your images as it took quite a while to load your site down under in Australia.

28,149 PointsYep, that's certainly next. Maybe today. I do plan to do both --- thank you for the numbers.

28,149 PointsThank you Peter,
I can agree with the bad. The number of projects and featuring a few are necessary next steps. Thank you.
As far as your portfolio, your projects have nice substance, and there's nothing wrong having your portfolio look more develop-y than design-y if that is your strength.
