Cocoapods is not installing the pod
I typed in the terminal: cd (and then I drag and dropped the Example project and hit enter) then I typed pod install and the results I got were "UPDATING LOCAL SPECS REPOSITORIES/ ANALYZING DEPENDENCIES)
UNABLE TO FIND A SPECIFICATION FOR 'SAMGRADIENTVIEW'
COCOAPODS WAS NOT ABLE TO UPDATE THE MASTER REPO. IF THIS IS AN UNEXPECTED ISSUE AND IT PERSISTS YOU CAN INSPECT IT RUNNING POD REPO UPDATE--VERBOSE
What does that mean? Did I install it? I am so confused. What should I do! I need to install this pod!

https://teamtreehouse.com/library/ios-tools/cocoapods/cocoapods
it comes up with an error that says
Unable to find a specification for SAMGradientView
[!] CocoaPods was not able to update the master repo. If this is an unexpected issue and persists you can inspect it running pod repo update --verbose
both with pod install or just pod... Sam Soffes
