Portfolio about and contact won't center

Hi I can't seem to get the portfolio, about and contact links to center like in Nick's video. Here's my nav element in the HTML code:

        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html" class="selected">portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contac.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>

Here's the CSS:

  font-family: 'Quattrocento Sans', sans-serif;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;

a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

Might want to check your CSS code under Navigation. Specifically the part where you are styling the nav element.

You typoed "centre" for "center." Also contac.html should probably be contact.html.

You made a small typo, replace centre by center here:

 nav {
  text-align: centre;
  padding: 10px 0;
  margin: 20px 0 0;
}

<li><a href="contac.html">Contact</a></li> contact.html instead of contac

if you want something to center you can't float:left

gallery li {

float: left; width: 45%; margin: 2.5%; background-color: #f5f5f5; color: #bdc3c7; }
