Possible to skip "Blog Reader app" section and move on to the next portion of the Android track?

I was wondering if there is a way to surpass the Blog Reader portion of the Android Track. The only reason that I am inquiring about this is for the sake of the IDE used is Eclipse and all the previous course work has been with the updated Android Studio IDE.

There are portions of that course that teaches a different way of coding things we learned in a previous course.

If we are unable to do that, I completely understand.

It has been somewhat confusing at times with certain language practices for a new developer like myself.

Thank you for all you guys/gals have done! This is an amazing resource for me! I wish I would started doing this long ago.

You could, but you probably miss learning some important things about android development.
